Marist College is a comprehensive, independent, liberal arts institution located in the historic Hudson River Valley of New York State, midway between New York City and Albany, the state capital. Situated on a 180-acre campus overlooking the Hudson River, it enrolls 4,200 traditional undergraduate, 850 graduate students and 750 continuing education students. Marist College has been recognized for excellence by U.S. News & World Report, The Princeton Review, Kiplinger's Personal Finance, Entrepreneur Magazine, and Barron's Best Buys in College Education, and is noted for its leadership in the use of technology to enhance the teaching and learning process. Marist recently received a $75 million gift to establish the Raymond A. Rich Institute for Leadership Development in an architecturally and historically 42,000-square-foot mansion along the Hudson River in nearby Esopus, NY.
