Although the next round of presidential primaries is taking place today, some early reports have Hillary Clinton as the Democratic Party’s probable presidential nominee.
According to AP, Clinton now has a combined total of 2,383 pledged delegates and superdelegates, which is the exact number needed for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination. Clinton’s opponent for the nomination, Bernie Sanders, has a combined total of 1,569 pledged delegates and superdelegates.
Today’s round of presidential primaries are taking place in the following states:
- North Dakota
- New Jersey
- New Mexico
- South Dakota
The next round of presidential primaries is scheduled to take place in Washington, D.C. on June 14.
