While attending his 20-year High School Reunion at Hunter High School, Lin-Manuel discovered a previously unknown connection.

Both Miranda and his wife, Vanessa Nadal, are alumni, and through an old edition of the school's newspaper, Miranda found a link to Nadal. It turns out that they both wrote articles for their newspaper, and they were published on the exact same page. This was an undiscovered connection unbeknownst to either of them.

Miranda stated that the link proved that Nadal knew he existed back then.
