Lehman College School of Arts & Humanities is presenting “Young Puerto Rican Filmmakers” on Thursday October 4. Held at the Studio Theater, the 75-minute program features a selection of short films and music videos directed by recent graduates and current students of the University of Puerto Rico–Mayagüez (UPRM) Film Certificate program.

Event To Take Place October 4

 

Lehman College School of Arts & Humanities is presenting “Young Puerto Rican Filmmakers” on Thursday October 4.

Held at the Studio Theater, the 75-minute program features a selection of short films and music videos directed by recent graduates and current students of the University of Puerto Rico–Mayagüez (UPRM) Film Certificate program.

Before the program commences founder and director of the UPRM certificate program, Dr. Mary Leonard will provide an overview. After the program Leonard and some of the filmmakers will take audience questions.

The film is part of Lehman’s City Humanities event series. It is opened to the public and has no admission fee.
