Lehman College is presenting their 10th Annual Pachero Latin Music and Jazz Festival through November 16. Special guests include guitarist (and former New York Yankees star) Bernie Williams, vibraphonist Mike Mainieri and two Lehman College alums singer-songwriter Enzo Taves and flutist Connie Grossman.
Named for the legendary musical superstar that led the salsa music and dance explosion in the 1960s, the Johnny Pachero Latin Music and Jazz Festival provides bandstand and learning opportunities for more than 250 talented young musicians that are studying music in New York City schools.
The event is open to the public and free of charge, it’s being held at the Studio Theatre in the Speech and Theater building on the Lehman campus. It will also be simulcast via web streaming.
