Administration July 2023 PREMIUM
Hispanic Outlook’s Top 50 Institutions For 2020-21

Obtaining a degree in a medical field is a goal held by many ambitious students who want to embark on a challenging course of study and have a meaningful career that assists others in ways that have become increasingly important, particularly after the global Covid19 pandemic. As highlighted by other articles in this issue, medical careers are becoming a greater number of diversified and accessible in an attempt to recruit more students from traditionally underserved backgrounds, who can relate more easily to the increasingly diverse patients they serve. In this issue, Hispanic Outlook recognizes those institutions that prepare students for a variety of medical professions within the two broad Carnegie Classification categories of Biological and Biomedical Sciences and Health Professions and Related Programs.
