Approaching storm prompts change in university's move in
COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — The University of Maryland at College Park is changing the dates for students moving into to dorms because of the approaching snowstorm.
The university has posted on its website that the campus will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Some staff will be on hand, though, to help students move into residence halls Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Move-in activities scheduled for Saturday have been cancelled, the college says. Students should not arrive on campus on Saturday.
The school urges students to monitor its website for information on when move-in activities can resume.
