While Latinos make up one quarter of students in public schools and 17 percent of the undergraduate population, Latinos only represent 4 percent of the total number of our U.S. higher education faculty. With the #LatinosTeach online campaign, the Initiative will demonstrate that while they are underrepresented, Hispanics are dedicating themselves to serving their community through teaching.
