Google Working With 25 Community Colleges To Offer New IT Course [Education News]

Google will be coming to LaGuardia Community College in order for New Yorkers to achieve tech literacy and have more access to digital economic opportunities. LaGuardia is one of over 25 Community Colleges in seven states (CA, IL, MI, NY, OH, TX and WI) that are being funded through JFF, a workforce development nonprofit funded by Google.org.

Google will be coming to LaGuardia Community College in order for New Yorkers to achieve tech literacy and have more access to digital economic opportunities.
 

LaGuardia is one of over 25 Community Colleges in seven states (CA, IL, MI, NY, OH, TX and WI) that are being funded through JFF, a workforce development nonprofit funded by Google.org.
 

The program is being provided by Grow with Google, their economic opportunity division that provides tech tools and training. LaGuardia will be adding Google’s IT Support Professional Certificate to their available courses in the 2018-2019 school year.

The course is designed to train those who have no prior experience in IT Support to become IT Professionals in about eight months and gain hands on experience to work in the field.

Scholarships and financial aid are obtainable to access the program.
