Graduate degrees offer a unique opportunity for career advancement. In the 2018-2019 academic year, the 25 institutions with the highest number of Hispanics/Latinos enrolled a total of 65805 Hispanic/Latino students. As to the highest number of graduate degrees granted to Hispanic/Latino students, Florida International University holds the highest number of Ph.D., Master, and Post-Baccalaureate degrees awarded to Hispanics/Latino, reaching a total of 2002.Although these figures are still low, numbers are increasing. The Hispanic Outlook appreciates the constant effort many higher ed institutions are making to walk along with the Hispanic/Latino students, many of whom are first-generation students who are opening the path to generations to come.
