Now Open: El Café Del Futuro Scholarship

Applications Deadline Is May 24

Applications are now open for The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) and Café Bustelo® El Café del Futuro Scholarship. They will award twenty $5,000 scholarships to eligible college students.

Students must complete an online application and write an 800 words or less essay in English or Spanish about their Latino heritage, family, the community they grew up in that impacted their desire and motivation to obtain a college degree, what they intend to accomplish with the degree, and how they plan give back to their community.

In order to apply students must be:

~ enrolled full-time at a HACU-member institution

~ 18-years-old or older

~ of Hispanic/Latino descent

~ a U.S. citizens or permanent legal resident

All applicants must be received by Friday, May 24, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
