Montclair State University’s 2019 Hispanic Student College Institute for high school students is currently accepting applications.
Since earning Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) designation in March 2016, Montclair State has used their status as the largest four-year HSI in New Jersey to elevate their commitment to educating Hispanic students.
Students can participate in the August 6-8, 2019 Institute at no cost. Participants have the opportunity to live on campus, explore career options, take workshops on the college application process, interact with leaders, faculty, staff and alumni, engage in conversations effecting the Hispanic community and develop leadership and public-speaking skills.
Upon the completion of the institute students will receive a certificate of completion for their resumes and college applications.
