Minnesota State Colleges And Universities Waive Application Fees

Waiving Fees Is In Celebration Of College Knowledge Month

Minnesota State Colleges and Universities are celebrating College Knowledge Month by waiving their application fees. During the month of October students can apply to any of the 30 colleges and seven universities in the state of Minnesota without paying a fee.  

Some of Minnesota’s colleges and universities have chosen to waive fees for the entire month of October (marked with one asterisk). While some have chosen to waive the application fee from October 22-26.

Additionally, some schools listed below never charge an application fee (marked with two asterisks). For qualified low-income students and active military service members deployed overseas every Minnesota school never charges an application fee.

~ Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College*
~ Hennepin Technical College*
~ Hibbing Community College
~ Inver Hills Community College
~ Itasca Community College
~ Lake Superior College*
~ Mesabi Range College*
~ Minneapolis College
~ Minnesota State College Southeast
~ Minnesota State Community and Technical College (waiving fees October 22 – 28)
~ Minnesota West Community and Technical College*
~ Normandale Community College
~ North Hennepin Community College
~ Northland Community and Technical College
~ Northwest Technical College*
~ Pine Technical and Community College**
~ Rainy River Community College*
~ Ridgewater College*
~ Riverland Community College**
~ Rochester Community and Technical College**
