If you have a New York Library Card, you can now get into 33 cultural institutions for free. People who have library cards in the New York Public Library, the Brooklyn Public Library or the Queens Library will get to reserve a pass to the venues for free once a year. Some places will allow reservations for up to four people.

These places include
~ the Whitney Museum
~ the Guggenheim
~ the Brooklyn Museum
~ the Brooklyn Botanic Garden
~ MoMA
~ the Noguchi Museum
~ the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum
~ the Rubin Museum
~ Wave Hill
They have all partnered with New York City libraries to launch a new initiative called Culture Pass designed to encourage underserved communities to be able to take advantage of the city’s cultural bounty.
People who have library cards in the New York Public Library, the Brooklyn Public Library or the Queens Library will get to reserve a pass to the venues for free once a year. Some places will allow reservations for up to four people.
The initiative is funded by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and several philanthropic foundations. Culture Pass is intended to make art more accessible to all New Yorkers. As the initiative continues they are hoping to add more institutions.
