HOLLAND, Mich. (AP) — A collection of oral histories and portraits of Latino residents is going on display at a library in the western Michigan city of Holland.

The exhibition titled "Nuestra Comunidad Hispana" is a collaboration led by Grand Valley State University's Kutsche Office of Local History in the Brooks College of Interdisciplinary Studies. An opening reception is Monday night at Herrick District Library.

Partners include the City of Holland, Herrick District Library, Latin Americans United for Progress, GVSU Meijer Campus, and St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.

The exhibition will remain up through December at the library in Holland, a city known for its Dutch heritage.
