Quinsigamond Community College closed following threat

WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — A community college in Massachusetts has been evacuated due to threats of a shooting.

Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, Massachusetts issued an alert at 8:47 a.m. Thursday that the campus has been until further notice. It asked all faculty and students to leave "in an orderly fashion." At 10:16 a.m., the college said it had received a "shooter threat."

No other details were immediately available.

The evacuation comes after the campus was closed Wednesday afternoon due to a bomb threat.
