KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) — Several colleges and universities in Michigan are closed for the day amid a winter storm that dumped snow across the state.
Western Michigan University is closed Thursday, including the school's Kalamazoo and Battle Creek campuses and its Grand Rapids regional location. Kalamazoo College also is closed for the day, but the school says evening activities may take place as scheduled.
The University of Michigan's Flint campus is closed. Delta College has canceled classes at its main campus and all centers.
In Mount Pleasant, all Central Michigan University locations are delaying operations until at least around midday with the exception of residence halls.
