SUNY Extends Offer To Help Students Displaced By Hurricanes [On A Positive Note In Education]

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has announced that the State University of New York (SUNY) has extended their offer to help students displaced by Hurricanes Maria and Irma. SUNY’s colleges and universities are offering in-state tuition for the 2018-2019 academic year to students from Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.

SUNY’s colleges and universities are offering in-state tuition for the 2018-2019 academic year to students from Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.

The 2017-2018 academic year saw 85 applicants. This is part of New York’s continuous efforts in their Puerto Rico Recovery and Rebuilding Initiative.
