Amazon Splits HQ Between New York And Northern Virginia

The online retailer Amazon has officially announced that it will split it’s second headquarters between northern Virginia and New York. Specifically, the Virginia location will be in Arlington, and the New York headquarters will be in Long Island City. Amazon is also opening an operations hub in Nashville.

Mariners Deny Fired Exec's Claims Of Racism Against Latinos

Lorena Martin, who up until recently had been the Seattle Mariners’ training and conditioning director before being terminated, has made claims on social media that the team’s management disparaged Latino players. The Mariners have denied these claims, calling them “outrageous” and “false.”

Lawyers Seek 'Apprentice' Tapes In Trump Immigration Suit

Lawyers have subpoenaed Trump Productions LLC and MGM Holdings Inc. to obtain unaired tapes of the reality TV show “The Apprentice” as part of their case against President Donald Trump’s ending of special protections that shield some immigrants from deportation. Specifically, the lawyers are seeking footage where Trump "uses racial and/or ethnic slurs" or "makes remarks concerning race, nationality and/or ethnic background."

First Caravan Members Reach US Border

Hundreds of members of the migrant caravan have reached the U.S./Mexico border and are currently staying in shelters and tents in Tijuana, Mexico. The members have said that they are going to wait for other migrants to arrive before making their next move.
