Eastern Michigan University’s new 4WARD Graduation Scholarship program will pay for a student’s last two years of college if the student is willing to commit to paying for his or her first two years of tuition at a locked-in rate that’s expected to be a little more than $13,000 a year for 30 credits.

University of Akron To Phase Out 80 Degree Programs

The University of Akron will be eliminating 10 Ph.D. programs, 33 master's programs, 20 bachelor's programs and 17 associate's programs over the next few years. Students in the affected programs will be able to finish their degrees. Despite this change, a University spokesman said there will not be any faculty reductions.
