This position’s responsibilities include effective engagement, successful oversight, management and strategic leadership regarding the University, the fashion community (nationally, internationally and regionally), and the College of the Arts. Qualifications include a terminal degree in one of the disciplines of the Fashion School or in a related field and relevant industry experience.
Kent State University
The Director, who reports to the Dean of the College of the Arts, is the chief academic and administrative officer and will have the opportunity to form partnerships with programs at the university broadly. Preferred qualifications include a doctoral degree in one of the disciplines of the School of Music.
University of California, Davis
Candidates should focus on translating ecological concepts and/or fundamental plant biology in the context of sustainability in built environments and urban ecosystem functioning. This is a tenure track position that includes the expectation of outreach relevant to the California Agricultural Experiment Station and mission-oriented research. Qualifications include Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
Texas A&M University Libraries
Candidate, who should have a keen understanding of the role of research libraries in the digital age, will collaborate with other library units to develop strategies, set priorities, implement policies and procedures, and manage budgets. Required Qualifications include ALA-accredited Master’s degree (or international equivalent) or current/sustained certification by the ACA.
