(November 6, 2015 – Cypress, CA) Trident University International (Trident) is proud to present a significant enhancement to the experience of its student community. Effective immediately, the Student Services and Academic Success Departments have merged to form the new Center for Student Success.
This reorganization was spearheaded by President & CEO Travis Allen and Dr. Simcha Pollard, Dean of the Glenn R. Jones College of Business and College of Information Systems and Vice Provost of Academic Analytics and Student Engagement. Managing the new Center for Student Success will be Tasha Cureton and Carlos Santana.
“The busy adult students in the Trident community require proactive, positive change, which was the driving force behind the Center for Student Success. We’re confident that the goals of this reorganization will be quickly realized so we can continue offering the best in class student experience,” said Travis Allen, Trident President & CEO.
With this new approach to serving the community, Student Success Advisors are now the one central contact point for all students at Trident. This relationship will be maintained from enrollment through graduation and is key to Trident’s commitment to student success.
This reorganization represents the onset of some significant changes to the student experience:
- One single point of contact for all student issues and support
- Consistent university-wide messaging that reinforces the role of the Student Success Advisor as the primary point of contact for students
- Student Success Advisors who are trained to support students on a wide range of issues
Trident is excited about this positive change to the student experience and the impact it will have on staff, faculty, and entire University community.
Trident, a leading 100% online post-secondary institution that offers degrees at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate levels, is committed to its community of adult learners and over 28,000 alumni.
