The University of Memphis has launched a FedEx IT Command Center on Campus.
This is the third step of a broader collaboration between the University and FedEx. A previous step included student-operated call centers at the University’s Memphis and Lembuth Campuses.
The Command Center is part of their initiative to grow the regional data analytics workforce. It will be a student-run IT Command Center open seven days a week.
The University of Memphis is hoping this will generate recruits from around the world interested in STEM disciplines to help with the global shortage.
