The University of Central Florida (UCF) is launching a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering.
Since most aerospace companies employ UCF graduates, and Aviation Week Network ranked UCF as the No. 1 workforce supplier for aerospace and defense industries for four years running, UCF decided it was time for a doctoral program.
Students in the program will explore the depths of aerodynamics, propulsion, dynamics and control, structures and materials, and aerospace systems design with an interdisciplinary curriculum including unique course offerings made possible by faculty collaborations between MAE and its Center for Advanced Turbomachinery and Energy Research, the UCF College of Optics and Photonics and the Townes Laser Institute.
The new program will start in fall 2019 and is currently enrolling.
