The Trump administration announced Thursday it will impose tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from Europe, Mexico and Canada after failing to win concessions from the American allies. The decision could provoke retaliatory penalties and exacerbate trans-Atlantic and North American trade tensions. The tariffs would be 25 percent on steel and 10 percent on aluminum.

Florida School Shooting Suspect Foretold Intention In Videos [Education News]

In chilling cellphone videos, the suspect in a February massacre at a Florida high school announced his intention to become the next school shooter. The three videos released by prosecutors were found on the cellphone of suspect Nikolas Cruz after the Feb. 14 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that killed 17 people and injured 17 others.

Trump To Meet With Families Of Victims Of Texas Shooting [Education News]

President Donald Trump will meet with families of the victims of a Texas school shooting that left 10 people dead. Trump is traveling to Texas Thursday. The White House says he'll meet with families of victims as well as community members after the shooting at Santa Fe High School on May 18. Eight students and two substitute teachers were killed.
