Financing May 2018 15 Illinois Libraries To Share $724K In State Grants Fifteen libraries across Illinois will share more than $700,000 in state grants to help pay for critical remodeling and renovation projects. Among the libraries receiving money are Benton Public Library District, Elmwood Park Public Library and Selby Township Library District in DePue. Several libraries are receiving money to help make facilities accessible to people with disabilities. Others will use the money for new roofs or HVAC systems.

But Lorella Praeli, director of immigration policy and campaign at the American Civil Liberties Union, said in a statement that a school taking such action would violate the U.S. Constitution's guarantee of education to every child.
