Keyboarding has become the number one skill for children to know. Callis has written a new book “Keyboard Kritters” designed to help kids type while teaching a positive lesson about acceptance before bad typing habits develop in later years.

In 2017, Callis along with the help of her students began creating the world of “Keyboard Kritters.” Students learn memory association games like where each “kritter” lives on the keyboard and stories that correlate with the fingers needed on the keyboard.

The book comes with hundreds of printables like blank keyboard and letter charts for students to learn the letters that they are typing, more than 50 online games, and lesson plans up to grade five.

Bobbi Jo Callis is a 1993 Slippery Rock University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
