PALEONTOLOGIST DR. MEE-MANN CHANG TO RECEIVE HONORARY DEGREE
WHAT As the first and only museum in the United States to offer a Ph.D. and now its own Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT), press are invited to attend the graduation of four Richard Gilder Graduate School Ph.D. students and fourteen MAT students.
The graduation will take place in a cap and gown ceremony under the iconic blue whale in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life, the site of countless school group activities and visits by millions from across the globe each year.
The former director of the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology in Beijing, Dr. Mee-mann Chang is recognized for her expertise in fossil fish systematics and the evolution of early vertebrates.
