Income Inequality: Connecting the dots from income inequality to money influence in politics

Income inequality has decimated our middle class, and has caused a litany of vexing economic, social, and political issues. One of the most important issues relating to income inequality is money influence in politics. 

Everyone knows that money matters in American politics. Noah will dig deeper and address how and why money spent on lobbyists in Washington had a greater impact on creating income inequality than the money spent on members of Congress. Noah will also discuss the rise of lobbying since the 1970s and the influence of Bryce Harlow, a lobbyist for Proctor and Gamble who set the stage for corporate America’s behind-the-scenes influence peddling in Washington, effectively blocking legislation that would have promoted economic equality.
