Rider U Alumna’s Estate Pledges More Than $400K To University

Donation To Support University Initiatives

Rider University Alumna’s estate has pledged more than $400,000 to the university.

The estate of Doris Hoagland ‘42 is donating $405,980 to support university initiatives. Hoagland earned a diploma in secretarial science. Attending Rider gave her the life she always dreamed of.

Hoagland was always grateful to the university and wanted to show her appreciation to her alma mater. Through this gift her legacy will leave a lasting impression on future generations of Rider students to achieve similar career-advancing opportunities and scholarship support.
