Lehman College School of Arts & Humanities is presenting “Young Puerto Rican Filmmakers” on Thursday October 4. Held at the Studio Theater, the 75-minute program features a selection of short films and music videos directed by recent graduates and current students of the University of Puerto Rico–Mayagüez (UPRM) Film Certificate program.
The group the Black Eyed Peas has released videos today that take on issues like gun violence in schools and immigration. Both videos feature their song “Big Love,” and proceeds from the song will benefit Families Belong Together and March for Our Lives.
