Traffic came to a standstill on choked roads Tuesday and those without vehicles walked, even in central Escuintla, which was not under an evacuation order.

Both Miranda and his wife, Vanessa Nadal, are alumni, and through an old edition of the school's newspaper, Miranda found a link to Nadal. It turns out that they both wrote articles for their newspaper.

Microsoft is investing $200,000 in the Accessibility Lighthouse Program, which started Monday. Harold Javid of Microsoft says the partnership will use advances in technology to provide opportunities for students with a range of disabilities.
