Financing October 2018 Murray State Offers Tuition Discounts For Military Students Murray State University is offering tuition discounts for military students who are pursuing either an undergraduate degree or a graduate degree. The university is providing free textbooks, waving course fees and matching remaining tuition costs that are not covered by the U.S. Department of Defense Military Tuition Assistance Program.

Financing October 2018 Northern Maine University Receives Largest Gift In History The University of Maine at Presque Isle has received the largest one-time gift in the history of the school. The $1 million gift will be used to establish the university’s first endowed chair: the Dr. Robert Vinton Akeley Chair of Agricultural Science and Agribusiness.
Global October 2018 Sickness, Fear, Harassment In Mexico Whittle Away At Caravan Fear, sickness and police harassment are chipping away at the migrant caravan, which resumed its journey today towards the U.S.-Mexico border. The group of 4,000 to 5,000 migrants includes children and toddlers in strollers. The trek ahead of them is more than 1,000 miles before they reach the border.
Global October 2018 More Packages Similar To Pipe Bombs Seized Packages addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden and to actor Robert De Niro have been intercepted. Investigators have said these packages were similar to the pipe bombs that were sent to CNN, Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama.
