While certain public, HSI, and emerging HSI institutions lead in representation, greater access, targeted support, and participation are needed to strengthen the future physician workforce.

Approximately 1,600 immigrants who have been apprehended along the U.S.-Mexico border, were then transferred to federal prisons in five states after President Trump's "zero tolerance" policy left the usual facilities short on space. HACU And Ford Team Up To Create “Ford College Community College”

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) have teamed up with the Ford Motor Company to create the “Ford College Community College.” The grant is specifically made for students that are attending HACU-member Hispanic-Serving Institutions to collaborate with a non-profit to design a proposal that will address the local needs of improving people’s lives
