Students Work Toward Latina Sorority at University of Missouri

Jessica Banuelos, who is studying psychology, has been working for the past two years to establish a chapter of the Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority at the school. The Columbia Missourian (http://bit.ly/1QFiP87 ) reports that it was started in 1975 at Kean University in Union, New Jersey, and is the oldest Latina sorority in the US.

Angela Evans Named Dean of LBJ School of Public Affairs

AUSTIN, Texas — Angela Evans has been appointed dean of the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin. Evans is a former deputy director of the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service and has served as a clinical professor at the LBJ School since 2009.
