
CU Boulder remains top in state for sending, receiving students internationally
The University of Colorado Boulder enrolled more international students during the 2015-16 academic year and sent more students abroad during the 2014-15 academic year than any other higher education institution in Colorado. The data, released today by the Institute of International Education in its annual Open Doors Report, show that CU Boulder was home to 2,951 international students during the 2015-16 school year, up from 2,614 in 2014-15. In addition, CU Boulder sent 1,592 students overseas during the 2014-15 school year, up from 1,541 in 2013-14. Year over year, the total number of U.S. study abroad students enrolled in Colorado was nearly flat with 5,355 in the 2013-14 academic year and 5,350 in 2014-15.
