The unemployment rate stayed near an 18-year low at 3.9 percent. These stats may indicate businesses and consumers will continue spending even though there are ongoing conflicts between the Trump administration and its trading partners.
Hispanic Community September 2018 Knight Foundation Renews $250,000 Support For Displaced Puerto Rican Students Studying At MDC The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation has awarded Miami Dade College $250,000, so the school can continue to support students from Puerto Rico who have been displaced by Hurricane Maria. These funds assist these displaced students with living expenses and tuition, as well as other costs associated with emergency relocation.
